Learning piano at age 5, Rio began his passionate pursuit of performing while always remaining the student of the art of music. In later years taking queues from Elvis, ABBA, Michael Jackson, Hendrix, and Van Halen; and refining with a blend of Dylan, Beethoven, Petty and REK. No stranger to the music business, founding member of The Washers and Copper Chief; Rio has had more than his share of stages and spotlights.
